Back in 05 I had a 2000 Civic Si, swap the block, b20, headers, fuel regulator, every time I race a prelude from a Dig, I won like the type R, I was like 3 Cars ahead everytime now that I SEE this race, I'm pretty sure Inhad a chance agaist a type R😊

20yrs ago I had King Motorsports(the Mugen dealer) put a brand new 0mi '01 spec B18c5 with lightly tuned head and Mugen Gymkhana spec 4-2-1 exhaust manifold into my DB2('92 GSR). When I picked it up they told me they were very impressed with how it came out and that it was much faster than a DC2. I have read that DB2's were much stiffer forward of the firewall than the DA's they looked like, and my DB2 only had one small patch of sound insulation under the spare tire. The rest of the hatch was bare painted steel under the carpet. If I had my choice right now, I would pick that car over a DC2 or DC5

Hang on theres a video of them racing the 4G Prelude SiR against an MR2 and that Prelude did a 14.5. Does that mean that the Type R is slower in the 1/4 mile? Damn wasn't expecting that.

This track is mote suited to the integra, a faster less corner-y track and the MR could’ve won, not by a lot, but still The point isn’t that it’s a better or faster car; in my honest opinion they can’t even be compared. One is an FF and the other an MR exotic.

This is not a correct comparison, I think the Honda has a better version available called Mugen, also the MINI has a version called GP2.

Type R aspirated engine “no turbo” against two car with turbo and beat them, just think what if the type r have a turbo 🤣. “I know the turbo on those car are stock factory” I just says what happened if honda put a turbo on that type R? Hahaha

FN2 Type R has 201 hp, even in the corners the other cars can’t compete.
